Easthampton MA Rotary - Four Avenues of Service

International Service has and continues to be an important part of the Easthampton Rotary Club. We have sponsored exchange students, hosted GSE Teams, supported Ambassadorial scholars; members have served on the GSE and Ambassadorial Scholars District Committees. Our club was successful in obtaining a $10,000 matching grant for Breast Cancer Awareness with a club in San Paolo, Brazil. We have contributed to numerous district level humanitarian projects.

One of our members went to a migrant labor camp in Mexico through Project Amigo loaded with gifts from our club for the children. To find out more about this fantastic program visit www.projectamigo.org. We annually sponsor a child’s education in this very rural part of Mexico.

Through one of our club members we were able to join in with a Connecticut club sending medical supplies and computers to a rural part of Poland. We sent over 30 computers.

Our members try, when possible, to attend the International Rotary Conferences, to meet people from all over the world and to bring back ideas for future projects.
